Becoming a mom is a beautiful, powerful journey — but it also brings incredible changes to your body. Pregnancy and childbirth stretch and shift your muscles, joints, fascia, and posture. Even after the 6- to 8-week postpartum “check-up,” many new mothers still carry subtle (or not-so-subtle) pelvic floor and core changes that can interfere with daily life, exercise, and overall wellness.
At Nisa Wellnest, we believe that returning to fitness should never be “all in or all out.” Instead, it’s about rebuilding your foundation — safely, intentionally, and with support.
📅 Event Date: January 17th
Join us for an educational and empowering session with our pelvic floor physical therapist on how to return to fitness safely and strong in the postpartum season.
Why Pelvic Floor PT Matters Postpartum
Pregnancy and birth often lead to altered muscle recruitment and coordination, especially in the pelvic floor, deep core, and abdominal muscles. Many symptoms don’t appear until activity increases.
PFPT can help with urinary leakage, pelvic pain, heaviness/prolapse symptoms, diastasis recti, scar pain, and core weakness.
A guided return-to-exercise approach reduces risk of setbacks, incontinence, or pain when resuming workouts.
Even if you feel “fine,” rebuilding from the deep core out supports long-term pelvic health, strength, and confidence.
